Difference between Freebase Nicotine & Salt Nicotine!

Salt nicotine and freebase are two different types of nicotine used in e-liquids for electronic cigarettes or vaping devices. Here are the differences:

Chemical Structure: Freebase nicotine is a pure form of nicotine that is typically extracted from tobacco plants and has a pH level of around 7-8. Salt nicotine, on the other hand, is a form of nicotine that is combined with an acid to create a smoother and more stable molecule. This chemical structure allows for salt nicotine to be absorbed more quickly and efficiently into the bloodstream than freebase nicotine.

Strength: Salt nicotine is typically available in higher concentrations than freebase nicotine. This means that even at lower wattages and smaller devices, salt nicotine can provide a stronger and more satisfying hit than freebase nicotine.

Flavour: Salt nicotine, even though it has a higher nicotine content, it offers a smoother delivery and more concentrated hit. Whereas with freebase nicotine, the higher you go in mg, the harsher it will be on your throat. 

Compatibility: Freebase nicotine is typically used larger devices with coils that have a higher wattage range with a lower resistance. Salt nicotine is better suited for smaller, lower wattage devices, with a higher resistance, such as pod systems or smaller vape pens.
